Fintan O’Mahony: a teacher of English, History, Drama and Social and Political Studies for many years in Scoil Mhuire, Carrick-on-Suir, Co. Tipperary (though writing here in a personal capacity). Also a regional representative for the Association of Secondary Teachers of Ireland (though again this blog has nothing to do with the ASTI).
